I got a chance to have Chris Patten listen to me for 5 to 10 minutes!! The conference call will be held next week! He is my idol ar!!

Haydn's Symphonies

I got the whole set of Haydn's symphonies (conducted by Dorati) from Shanghai from my last trip and started to listen to it backwards from the 33rd disc. It was quite an experience - how Haydn managed to compose all these symphonies? He was such a genius! His tunes were capturing and many of the melodies we know today are actually from Haydn. Imagine after a few hundred years, people still recognize a tune written by you? I would be excited to death if I even have one tune recognized by anybody after 10 years of my death!

Lowell Lo

Lowell Lo's concert is just fabulous! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't think of anybody else who could command such attention during the concert when he sings! Regret that I only bought the HKD100 ticket - so many "see nai" were chatting during the performance.

Blackberry

I have become more restless with the Blackberry. I can perhaps get some rests while I am on the taxi or MTR, but now I would check mails or reply to mails. When it vibrates, I would instantly check what mails have arrived. I am on constant alert. As times goes by, there is just no rest apart from sleeping.

Not everything is urgent. Why should I be bothered?
