CD Player - Help!!!
I want to buy a CD player to match with my Integrated Amp at home (McIntosh MA6500). Budget: around HKD20,000.- Any idea? Somebody told me to buy a convertor rather than a CD player - they said it would give me better sound.
Some of the better brands are out of budget: Meridian, Wadia, etc.

why not buy a universal player?
what is it? How's the sound quality
that is those which can play CD, SACD, DVD Audio/Video, etc.
according to some users, the sound quality of players of Esoteric (by Teac) and Luxman is quite good.
how much is it?
it depends on which model you wish to buy. go to shops such as hi fi gallery and listen.
