Schnabel's Beethoven Sonata

I have already got Schnabel's set of Beethoven Sonata at home (EMI). But I heard that the Naxos recording/remastering has a better sound. I have reserved it at HMV. But would it be too crazy to own two sets of Schnabel?

But I heard that for Schnabel's Beethoven, Naxos got a much better remastering than EMI/Pearl. Any ideas?

In fact, I ordered it from HMV and collected it from them yesterday evening. When I put one of the CDs in and played it, I noticed the difference in the remastering. EMI's version got less noise, but the distortion to the piano sound is more significant. Naxos' version, though with much more background noise, which could be mentally filtered, gives you a more original sound. Both versions are good and it is difficult to choose which one to buy. But don't buy the Pearl version. I heard the remastering is bad.
