sigh. nobody will attend Joanna MacGregor! Messiaen's cycle is a stunning piece and it's absolutly something not to be missed for such a BIG cycle to be done in its entirety in Hong Kong.
No NYPhil for me, unattractive programme and personally don't like Maazel.

- LSO Chorus (24 Feb, wanna go to 23Feb as well)
- LSO 2nd night
- Schiff
- Schiff Trio
- Master Builder
- Joanna MacGregor
- Trio Mediaeval
Tungpo - yes 15% off. That's why I subscribed to 7 performances.
Kuno - I thought of attending the Joanna MacGregor but I will be engaged that night!
Maazel is no good to me, but I want to see Zhang leading NYPO.
I thought you said you didn't like Schiff?
For LPO Chorus, I think second night is better, but I listened to so many of these concerts singing similar stuff when I was in the UK, so I will give it a pass this time.
BTW, are you going to Mahler 6, Tungpo and Kuno?
I have similar choices as yours.
I will go for Mahler 6. I thought HKPO are going to play another Mahler symphony in Arts Festival. Now, that's disappointing to me...
Will attend Mahler 6, maybe on Friday (16 Nov)? How abt you?
Now HK Phil already performed 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7. Not too far away from the complete cycle. So de Waart will probably fulfil his promise before the end of his tenure...
